The drama teacher who she was with caught her cutting across his lawn to try not to be late for field hockey practice he told her to skip practice and be part of the cast in Richard III and thus began her adoration of acting. Sarah's love for the craft inspired her to study the double degree of English along with Theater in Hamilton College. Sarah spent her junior-year studying theater abroad in London as well as Oxford.
